Saturday September 24, 2022 Schedule:

6:00 - 7:30 am - Registration
7:30 -8:00  am: Opening Assembly
8:00 - 11:30 am: Morning Training Session
11:30-1:00 pm: Lunch
1:00 - 4:00 pm: Afternoon Training Session

     SATURDAY ONE DAY CLASSES


1. Advanced Firefighter Drags and Carries
This dynamic two-part program. First Half of day you will learn that   This is a must for a Company Officer or Incident Commander and recommended for all fire service personnel. 
Moving a victim is harder than most realize. If the victim is conscious, pain from their injuries may cause them to shift their weight around while you're moving them, creating a scenario with a strong likelihood of rescuer injury.  It is essential to know how to properly package a victim in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.  It is our responsibility to be able to prepare a victim for removal from as quickly as possible, through the use of many different lifts, assists, carries, and drags, while also striving to minimize any further damage to the victim. First half of the day of this class will be class room showing you power point second part of day will be practical. 
Prerequisites:  None. • Equipment Needs: Full PPE with SCBA • Instructor: Fire Chief John Savage  • Saturday
